Sleep Expert

My name is Dr. Jay Khorsandi. I am a dentist that focuses on the area just past your last molars. It’s called your airway and for the last 6 years I have treated and helped over 5000 patients with snoring and sleep apnea. Throughout my career, I have worn many hats. From cosmetic dentist, to startup co-founder, to sleep advocate and podcast host, just to name a few. I’m here to share my knowledge of health hacks, sleep optimization, nutritional support and biohacking technologies designed to help you take your life to the next level.
Whether I’m saving marriages by helping people to breathe and stop snoring at night, interviewing industry leaders on my podcast or exploring the latest technologies to help you sleep and recover, I’m always on the hunt for ways to promote health.

The problem of snoring and sleep apnea, also known as sleep disordered breathing, is rampant...

Here are some stats to think about:

  • About 50% of adults in the US snore at night.

  • About 80% of those snorers have sleep apnea

  • The global prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is now estimated to near 1 billion people—and that total may still be understated

  • It gets worse as we get older, and poor sleep ages us faster. Talk about a vicious cycle!

  • It’s not all bad news however! Treating snoring and sleep apnea is easier than ever.

  • The majority, if not all of it can be done via telemedicine and remotely.

  • There are alternatives and options including advanced (and tiny) CPAP machines, special oral devices, and laser options.

  • Most of the time, when we address and treat this problem there are 2 people that benefit.

  • Both the snorer and their partner can get the relief they have been looking for.

  • Most of my patients have been dealing with this for years, not knowing that technology has improved so much that it’s not like “the old days” anymore.

  • No need to pack your bags and  spend the night wired up  in a laboratory.

  • Sleep studies these days are mailed to your house and can be as easy as a tiny sensor taped to your finger.
